They all have shades of red as their names right?

Shouldn't her name be Rogue?

Wait... No I'm wrong... GAH! Way too many bad X-men fanfics... they got me all turned around!

I REALLY like that concept by the way! The neurite. That is so good a concept it's scary!

Can I use it in a story sometime??

Reply Mr. Neil, Jan 18, 2006

Yeah, I was always afraid that people might confuse Rouge with Rogue, but fortunately, that doesn't happen very often.

As far as using the Neurites, be my guest. I've been hoping to pioneer new ways of having superpowers outside of mutations and radiation. Having a nano-machine inside of a living cell is something that is, to my knowledge, totally unique to Dasien.

If I had to bet on it, though, I probably stole it from Adam Warren at some point, anyway, so I'm not going to claim exclusive ownership over any of the technology that you see in Dasien. In fact, if you read through his Dirty Pair series, you'll find a lot of curious echoes of similar technical explanations found throughout those stories. There is a whole lot of Dirty Pair in Dasien.

Also, there is such a thing as nanotechnology. Check this out: http://www.zyvex.com/nano/

You should have named one of them Cerise... ^_~

Great comic, I like the action hero-ness of it!

Actually, I think Star Trek came up with that first with the Borg. =) They have nanotechnology in their bloodstream.

Reply KrazyKat, May 05, 2007

Well, when you come right down to it, there really isn't any original ways to get superpowers anymore. Don't beat yourself up if it turns out someone already came up with nanites in cells; it's still a fairly uncommon superpower source.
