Back To The Gizmo Bug So now that we have the plot coming together, I'll take a moment to explain Ms. Victory.

During World War II, the US Department of Defense developed the "V-47 formula", which was to enhance the strength and stamina of soldiers, similar to the origin of Captain America.

The formula only worked on Ms. Victory, giving her amazing power and preventing her from aging.

She's actually one of the oldest superheroes in existence, as her publication history goes back to the early 40s under Hilnit Publishing Co and later Holyoke Publishing. Holyoke cease publishing in 1948, but the character was revived by AC Comics in 1984, where she's been ever since.

On a tangentially related note, the Blue Beetle was also published by Holyoke and later appeared in AC Comics as well before finally being sold to DC.

Ms. Victory™ used with permission of AC Comics. Ms. Victory™ appears in AC Comics' FEMFORCE, created by Bill Black.
